Patrick VANDEWALLE: founder, artistic en businesslike director, actor

Graduated as a teacher in 1975.
Wrote the novels "Diatribe in the labyrinth" and "Ants".
He was with Daniel Van Ryssel founder of the illustrated magazine "Amarant".
Was member of the literary group Yang

Set up Teater Exces in 1972.

Set up "The Musée Madame Toes-Zoo" in 1981.
Makes the choreography of Equus for several companies such as "Melomanen" (1986) Ghent Theatre Argus (1990), Belsele, "The Rhetorician Chamber", (1991) Knesselare, KNS Antwerp (1998) (al in direction of Frank Van Laecke).
Movement recommendation for "The Phantoms or the Drapers Guild" for the I.C.N.D.T., Amsterdam, in 1989.
Accompanied the production "The Wall" of S.S.I.P.M.B. on the occasion of the 6O/4O festivals around king Boudewijn.
Movement recommendation for the "Security Symphony" for the N.A.V.B. for an international congress in Brussels.
Wrote the scenario and did the direction and the movement recommendation of "Rembrandt… Oh Rembrandt", the most successful "passageway spectacle"of Teater Exces, which knew its première in July 1991 during the Ghent festivals.
Were director and coordinator of the opening congress of the "European year for security and health at work" for the Ministry of Labour and employment.
Looked after the choreography of the "Buienwippers" for the G.A.T. in a version and directed by Eddy Daese.
Several tours abroad:. The Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Sweden, Spain and Japan (Tokyo, Nagasaki, Osaka, Sasebo, Fukuoka).

Theatre experience

Since 1972 up to 2010 author, actor, director and choreographer of more than 100 creations. Acting as a movement actor actively since 1970. Played in the KNS (Antwerp) the horse Nugget in the production Equus directed by Frank Van Laecke.
