The past moves in the present to develop further in the future.Four European icons, historical statues of flesh and blood, as set in stone, motionless and in movement.
What they have in common?
What they have in common with the members of the public?
What is their time with us in common?
What is happening in the area has always been and will always be there.
Humour with double bed, cynical, poetic, incredibly, frightening, macabre, raw, minimalist and playful. Within this project, there are four choices: FROZEN STATUES (30 minutes) One up to four actors brings live statues on your activity. They use the surroundings or sit to their own table. Every show lasts 30 minutes and can be played several times a day. CARLOS QUINTO & CO (30 minutes) Two up to four historical personages sit inert at their table.
They stare vacantly for itself but also to the public. An intriguing game of tensions develops itself. After some time they reach movement to converse, to eat and to drink.
Within this evolution arises also an interaction with public that participates inconspicuously within the uproar.
The entire show is supported by a splendid musical context.
Every show lasts 30 minutes and can be played 3 times. EMINENCES GRISES: LA total (45 minutes) "La total" starts with a parade of the four historical characters which walk with a rather sinister table through the streets.
They stop to change into statues, standing and sitting at their table and reach to enjoy a macabre meal.
They leave the table to stick against the walls of houses or as pictures in the street.
Meanwhile they create a tension and interaction with the public that evolves in a participation or in following the walk.
At the end of the parade the statues become rather living and dance a baroque dance, a tarantella, to evolve in jump and tectonic.
After this explosion they continue again their way by the streets. EMINENCES GRISES: PARADE (30 minutes) Same as "La total", but without the platform act (the dancing)
